My Etsy Adventure

Getting started with Etsy

Soul Beats Studio, or how Creativity found its way

Soul Beats Studio was born just a few months ago. For a long time, I dreamed of having a personal online space where I could let my imagination and creativity run wild. After some initial hesitation and a few unsuccessful attempts, I finally launched my small store on Etsy.

I have a professional background in Digital Marketing and Ecommerce, which has helped me build and promote my creative projects. I also have experience working with kids as an English teacher and in summer camps, where I developed engaging activities for children aged 8–12. This background, combined with my passion for creating kids’ activities and children’s storybooks, naturally led me to start Soul Beats Studio — a space where I can bring together creativity, storytelling, and playful learning.

A long the journey of building Soul Beats Studio, I discovered the exciting possibility of expanding the project to include the whole family. This led me to develop party and celebration games, like the Family Reunion Games, as well as other fun, family-friendly printables designed to bring joy and connection to special moments.

My Etsy Journey

I know I still have a lot to learn about Etsy, but after working with the platform for some months, here are my initial impressions. If you want to know more, let me know in the comments section.

  • 1. Focus on a Clear Product Niche (Digital or Physical):
Choose a specific niche that aligns with your skills and interests. Whether it’s digital or physical products, narrowing your focus will help you stand out and connect with the right audience.
  • 2. Do Your Research First:
Before jumping in, take time to understand the market. Look into what’s trending, the search volume on the platform, and how much competition exists. A well-informed start can save you time and guide your creative direction. I personally use Erank and Sales Saumari. If you want me to post about both tools, leave a comment below!
  • 3. Invest Time in Creating Quality Products:
Don’t rush the process. A thoughtfully developed, high-quality product will have a greater impact and longer shelf life than something made in a hurry. Think long-term.
